Finding Freedom Through Boundaries

What recent participants are saying about this course:

"Kim, your research and thoroughness in this course is exemplary. It felt to me that you also addressed learning styles by including the videos, the experiential lessons, the prepared statements, etc. This helped me consider all the ways I can now help myself to not be such a people pleaser, not be so co-dependent, which truly has become worse over time. And yes, all stemming from lack of self esteem and not really knowing what is truly who I am instead of who someone else wants me to be." - Graduate

"Every lesson was well planned and detailed in a beautiful way to help me reflect and take on a new understanding of boundaries. Counseling doesn’t address boundaries as clearly as it is defined here in this course. Having the videos of the interactions between the horses helped me see how direct and clear boundary setting can be, without overthinking." - Graduate

This unique, foundational five-module course is specifically designed to provide equestrians (and anyone else who loves horses!) with essential understandings about the role boundaries play in our lives, while increasing your confidence and skills around boundary setting so you can navigate all the relationships in your life much more effectively. Each self-paced module contains a pre-recorded video lesson, a dedicated self-awareness assessment, experiential activities and exclusive equine behavior videos that demonstrate masterful boundary-setting.

This is a self-paced online course in five modules:

Module 1: What are boundaries?

Module 2: The Power of YES and NO

Module 3: Co-Dependence and Boundaries

Module 4: Vulnerability and Boundaries

Module 5: Assertive vs. Aggressive Communication

While this is a self-paced course, students are encouraged to complete one module per week (approximate time commitment of 1-2 hours). The information in this course is progressive and cumulative, so the fresher the previous lessons are, the more integrated your learning experience will be.

“Boundaries define us. They define what is me and what is not me. A boundary shows me where I end and someone else begins, leading me to a sense of ownership. Knowing what I am to own and take responsibility for gives me freedom.” – Henry Cloud
